Alaska Duck Tape Flight
When bush pilot Luke Miller, 28, made an overnight stop at a friend's hunting lodge in Southwest Alaska earlier this year, he had no way to know that a large and very dedicated menace would, under cover of night, chew and claw his plane to shreds. Luke, chartered pilot and fishermen, had left a cooler and bait in the plane. The bear smelled it and this is what the bear did to the plane..

The pilot used his radio and had another pilot bring him 2 new tires, 3 cases of duct tape, and a supply of sheet plastic. He patched the plane together, and FLEW IT HOME!
A true testiment to ingenuity.
